TGIF used to make some potato skins (snack chips in the grocery store) that were also habanero but they were quickly discontinued. So delicious.

I tried one of the other flavors and they were terrible, but the heat on the habs was perfect, couldnt stop eating them.

My advice = enjoy them cheetos while you can because it might not be for very long.

I have a feeling that most ppl that read cheetos as cheerios are breeders who have had little F-trophies running around the house recently.

Habanero Doritos were out for a long time but discontinued a couple of years ago. They were, without a doubt, my favorite chip. I think we had a Doritos thread where we discussed this one and some others. My feelings of anger and disappointment over them pulling this flavor were profound.

HOWEVER, apparently they released them as a limited time thing just before the Super Bowl. I didn't know about it until a week or so ago when I saw the little bags in a convenience store. I bought all they had (9 bags).

I don't like really any snack food, but living in Mexico made me fall in love with spicy Cheetos. I'm heading to the grocery store today and if I see this MFers they're getting eaten.

They do have a nice kick to em, but I still prefer good ol generic cheesy ones. They still have a bit of a cheese flavor, but not as much with the focus definately on the hot side.

The Habanero Cheetos are undoubtedly too hot for me.

Jalapeno Cheetos, however, are pure perfection.

So are these the same as Cheddar Jalapeno Cheetos? I was walking past the vending machine in my office just now, and someone was loading it, which reminded me to look for Habanero Cheetos. The guy asked what I was looking for, and I told him. He said he had them -- then he said they were jalapeno. And he gave me a bag, and said don't worry about it. So that was cool!

Oh neverm ind -- post 18 tells me they are different. Hmm. Are jalapeno and habanero that different that they need separate flavors of Cheetos for them?

Darn, I went out to try to find them and only found the jalapeno. Obviously, I must try different grocery stores this weekend.

Pass....habaneros are much spicier, so in theory, yes, some people want it hot....er, hotter.

I went to every major grocery store in my area to find them, to no avail (Wegmans, Harris Teeter, Giant, Safeway, Bloom). Didn't go to Super Wal-Mart or Super Target, but I think they haven't been rolled out this way yet...

Okay I finally found small bags in a 7-11. Good stuff. Not as hot as the Habenero doritos tho.

For those not finding them in grocery stores, try 7-11s and you'll probably only find the small 99 cent bags, not big bags like i did
