What do y'all think of this Midfield Rating Calculator?

http://www.killanmakilavuzu.com/ht/rating.php

It seems accurate for my team's actual ratings. And I've learned a bit about how the game works, it this thing is correct.

looks pretty darn close for my ratings too.

If I went for the HIGHEST possible midfield for my team...."towards the middle, defensive forwarsd, offensive Cdentral Defender, AND I MOTS"...I would have:

Your Estimated Midfield Rating:
Extra-Terr. (16.15)

However, with what I will be playing, I get this:

Your Estimated Midfield Rating:
Brilliant (11.86)

Yes, I can jump up, too, doing that.

So it is true that if you play defensive forwards and/or offensive CDs they will count toward your MF rating? That's what I get out of this.

I understood about wingers to the middle from the rules, but the rules do not explicitly say the CD and forward stuff adds into the MF calculation.

Most of my players are passable PMs, so I could gain a quite a bit by doing this stuff. If I ever play a decent team in a real match, not the bozos in VI.83.

I know the central defenders played offensively helped, I guess I didn't realize it with the forwards played defensively (which I would NEVER do).

From HT Rules:

Individual orders
Central defender
Offensive - A certain amount of Midfield, less Defending

Forward
Defensive - A certain amount of Midfield, less Scoring

I stand corrected. Good catch.

Away: Your Estimated Midfield Rating:
Excellent (8.34)

Home: Your Estimated Midfield Rating:
Formidable (9.27)

W/ Special orders of all players helping middle: Your Estimated Midfield Rating:
Brilliant (11.44)

Rates me a little high everywhere. Very tempted to try all players helping midfield... I've never hit above a formidable and that was once. (I rarely play to full strength)

How much does a offensive center defender really hurt the defense? I am considering trying it as well, but im leary about what my defense rating would be.

So apparently, a POE MOTS gets me a World-Class MF, while a normal home Content game gets me an Outstanding MF. A little high, I suspect, as I've never gotten more than Formidable.

I wonder if its more accurate at the lower levels? I plan on using one winger to MF (instead of normal) in my league game. It is predicting I'll be inadequate, an all-time high, for me.

OG, I often use a winger toward middle, and it's an even better strategy if your opponent is predictable in setting his lineup, as about 80% of the non-FOFCers are out there, and he always leaves the same weak spot on defense. You can then put your attack on one side and completely ignore the other side and even put a pure inner mid in there.

and on the subject of the calculator, I saw a few weeks ago, and after testing it with my middies, I came out with the conclusion that it was overestimating my midfield, but that it may work for lower levels...

YEah, I'm playing a guy who always plays his best defender on the left. I swapped my best winger/player to his weaker side and I'll attack there. Might be overdoing it as I beat him 2-0 while down two men and a third injured the first time around. However, he looks to be the only other coach who has a clue and he's one point up on me, so I need this to finish third. He also has no attack to speak of, and he tried out 3-5-2 for the first time in last night's friendly.

I run a 3-4-3 with one of my forwards set defensive, he does boost my MF a bit, and since I started doing it, my MF went from Poor - weak to Inad-Pass
