I fully agree. That seems to be a problem with many Hollywood celebs as well. Maybe they need to have a more critical eye instead of listening to makeup "artists" telling them how fabulous they look?

Her program looked pretty great and she has good artistry, but she muffed 2 makeable jumps and lost to the inferior Japanese girl who skated a clean program, but not one significantly as hard as Cohen's. She ditched the triple/triple combo at the last moment cause she knew she didnt need it.

I assume the over-the-top makeup is there for the judges, not for the home viewers. It's like stage makeup.
