I can say I am one of the people that have eureka moments...although with my memory being so crappy, who the heck knows. What I will say is this. On this board I have learned more than I ever thought I would about "other" stuff compared to the "front Office football" I originally came here for.

...this is what the Democrats are doing. The Dems in the house have held up or down votes on dozens of items that have been filibustered in the Senate, immigration being the one with the highest profile. But also tax increases for oil companies (http://www.usatoday.com/news/washington/2007-06-21-gopblocksoil_N.htm) and the Employee Free Choice Act (http://www.workdayminnesota.org/index.php?news_6_3149), and also bills on raising the minimum wage, a date to remove troops from Iraq, and fulfilling the 9/11 commission's recommendations on homeland security, all bills that enjoy majority support but can't get 60 votes in the Senate. You are blaming Dems for an obvious failure of Republicans.
