Mine arrived yesterday, and was accidentally opened by a very confused girlfriend.

FM 08, from Emiliano! I had actually intended to pick this up after the conclusion of the semester, as a reward for my hard work. Very much appreciated, thanks Emiliano!

Dude, when did we get these cool button thingies?

I received Friday Night Lights Season 1 on DVD and I am pretty sure it was from Coffee Warlord.

This was a great gift. I was surprised. I watched 2 episodes the other night waiting on some work to complete.

Sadly, Amazon left the purchaser's information on the invoice and he is the only person I have seen in the gift exchange from Chicago.

I received Jenga for the Wii. It's a cool gift as the whole family gets to enjoy it. Thank you to the secret Santa but I still am unsure of who it was. That makes me think it was spleen as he mentions something for the family in one of his posts. I first thought Jeeber as it was from Texas but if it was ordered online it wouldn't really matter where it was from.

Veery happy you liked it. I mean, I was almost sure about that (did some easy research...), what I wasn't sure was the fact that you possibly could already have it. Well, have fun!

simply type spoiler bracketed by these things: []. At the end of your post make it /spoiler.

Thank you. I'd love a spoiler wrap button, btw.

Coffee Warlord was my Santa. Name was on the billing address. I got two nice Penguin history books, one on ancient history and one on medieval history. Both of them seem to have a map on every other page. Great background for Total War games.

It takes a little getting used to but it's a blast with the family (mostly just the wife and I as the kids are still a little young to get the knack but they enjoy knocking the stack down :) ).

I shipped alot of crap in the last 3 weeks from Ebay. Priority has been taking about 4-5 days and parcels have been taking about 10-12 days. International is all over the place.

You are correct. I am a little disappointed that your kids are too young to play it. My other idea was the Todd McFarlane Reggie White figurine, but I wanted to do something different.

It was a toss up between steaks or the booze. I wanted to go with something different. I know not everyon'e a drinker, but considering your name, I went out on a limb. :)

Doh! That's actually excellent thinking. Except that I don't drink beer :(. However, I really do like this gift and am going to share with a couple of my friends and then keep the bottles since they're pretty neat.

I received a package today, and I can only assume that it's Render's gift. It's a miniature figurine of a knight riding a griffon, and if you really did the paintwork on it, Ren, excellent job! Very, very detailed and it looks very nice. Now I just have to find a place to display it where the cats can't get to it... :)

Thank you. It's fun to play and my oldest is getting closer for it. They have a blast playing it though even though they tend to knock it down each time.

Thanks again and Merry Christmas / Happy Holidays!!!

Indeed! Its a metal model kit from Games Workshop. I had to build it first, which is what delayed me a bit. The parts didn't mesh well at first so I did some epoxy work to smooth out some creases.

It should be quite solid, just being tipped over shouldn't damage it. I finished it off with multiple coats of clear sealer so the paint should be safe! Though if it falls from a height it'll probably be so much metal mash =)

I do apologize for not labeling it, I was worried about etting it out in time and I forgot to put my name on it!!

Merry Xmas Jeeber!

Dammit! I should have known....always choose steak. Of course with my luck, you'd then end up being a vegan.

I'm glad you like it anyway. Merry Christmas. :D

I've had a long line of bad presents, and amazingly they have either come from my mother-in-law or my own mother. For years my own mother sent me the same scented soap on a rope (which I never used) and a Swiss Army pocket knife (which I did use). Then after I got married my mother-in-law really got weird. We received a box loaded with a pad of green felt and a strand of copper wire. For the longest time we were at a total loss on what this was or meant. Eventually we just asked her and supposedly this was a kit for working jigsaw puzzles. And this year my own mother has failed to send us (my two young sons included) so much as a card. Yay Mom!
