In a league I'm in(BLPF), a player of mine went down due to a strained hamstring in Preseason week 4. It's now Week 10 of the regular season, and he's STILL not ready to play. He's been inactive for every game during the season. He's my #2 TE, but he's still 'better' than the guy I have there.
My issue is, I'm in pretty good shape to make the playoffs, and I'm sure I could use him then. It says he has a high risk of reinjury.
Would I be better served just playing the guy and letting him reinjure it, so I can have an accurate timetable for his return? I figure a reinjury this late in the season would cost him the year, and going week to week isn't doing much for me either, so it doesn't really make much a difference right?
For the record, the injured TE is 3 EXP 58/61.
His replacement is 4 EXP 57/61...so it hasn't been 'urgent' all season.
Should I continue to just tough it out, or just play the guy and let him get hurt?
