My hard drive had to be replaced on my laptop which cost me my final license. I was wondering if there was someone I can email to have reset my licenses so I can reinstall.

I appreciate the help.

How long until they typically respond? It has been five days and no response. Not even we received your inquiry, someone will get back to you.

Sometimes I get one back the same day.....other times I have to email them several times and it takes up to a month.

They don't confirm reception of the email, you just wait and when you've given up hope, they send you a new license

Thanks Firefly. We are at the one week waiting point (2 emails sent), with no reply. So I am going to hold out hope that you are correct. ;)

Just remember to lose hope at some point, otherwise it won't work

Okay, I have officially lost hope that I will get a response. I was hoping to have the game up and running very soon. In less than two weeks, I will be unable to do much and need something to keep me from causing my wife and daughter the desire of ending my ......

Thanks,

Hmmm...the prospect of a new game has me wanting to play for the first time in several years. I've gotten a couple of new computers since 2006, but never unlicensed the game before moving to the new computer(s). I just contacted ViaTech, but this thread doesn't have me hopeful that they'll get back to me anytime soon (if ever). Damn...

Not to be a downer, but I still have not heard back and we are now pushing four weeks. :(

I do still have my old CPU, but is it worth the trouble hooking it up to everything just to unlicense the game? I don't know...

Just an update to let y'all know that eLicense did get back to me on Tuesday (about two hours after I had hooked my old computer back up and unlicensed it myself). So they're not completely worthless, I suppose.

I am still waiting. Who did you have to payoff for the help? :p
