Just curious, after seeing that Mr. Bryant is attempting to buy his way back into his wife's good graces with a $4 million ring, how much would it cost you to erase an adulterous affair?

Fo me I am thinking (35 - herRealAge)*100 million. Of course, I would have to work until I am about 12000 years old to get away with a 19 year old.

I would put up a poll, but do not want to constrain the answers.

Well, I guess the fee would be whatever it would cost to have The Misses drugged and knocked out at home and then brought to some facility that specializes in removing certain items from a person's memory permanently..

Ahh, I bet a place like this would make some serious $$$$. Maybe we can put together a FOFC Co-op and get one started.

From what I hear, MK, this place already exists. It's called "Any movie theater currently showing Gigli"

Buying his way out of it really stinks. If I was his wife, I would stick the ring up his pee-hole.

I bet she would, except then she couldn't sell it. I bet she puts it AROUND his pee-hole.

Yah, if I ever did something like that, I don't think there would be anything I could do to buy my way back into Mrs. Blade's good graces...better to not even get into that situation!

If you do the math and convert Kobe dollars to normal dollars though that ring wasn't all that expensive.

Figure between salary and endorsements Kobe's pulling around 40 million. The ring was only 4 million.

So 10% of one years salary is on her finger.

So for a guy making around $50,000 you just need a $5,000 ring (and a good lawyer or pre-nup keeping her away from getting half).

I would love to be her attorney. :)

I was just telling ChiefRum that he should start courting her. Imagine the fun of Chief dating Kobe's ex-wife and raising his kid. :)

I think she's playing the "good little woman" until after next summer... when Kobe's a free agent and is bound to sign a whopping new contract... at which point he can just immediately sign over half of it to her, and spare himself the cost of litigation.

I would advise her to get pregnant at least once more...

From what I'm hearing about the case, I'm not sure I'd blame her for going Lorena Bobbitt on his a**.

Kinda reminds me of Carmella and Tony on the Sopranos. He cheats, he buys her a ring or a necklace, then all is well. Until that crappy last season where it turned into a soap opera about a mob divorce.
