You guys really think Green Bay is going to win 10 games with that defense? I think it's going to be one of the worst defenses in the entire league. I love Farve, but I'll be shocked if they win 10 games.

Don't go withdrawing your life savings just yet. You have to lay $11 to win $10, which provides the sports books with their edge.
I don't make many promises.... but everyone put their houses on Arizona and the under.....

TroyF, GB was 2nd to last in the NFL at ypc allowed (4.8) in 2002 and still won 12 games. And that's with a significant number of injuries. They have a solid secondary with McKenzie, Harris, Sharper and Edwards. GB also has a nice young LB group (Diggs and Barnet both look good in camp) and one of the top pass rushers in the league. They will be a below average defense based on yards allowed, force a bunch of TOs and be good enough to win most games.
Plus, how good do you have to be when facing Detroit, Chicago and Minnesota for 6 of your 16 games?

Arles,
Maybe you're right, but I don't see those turnovers. I don't think they are head and shoulders above everyone in that division anymore. I can easily see a 3-3 mark against their division foes this year.

St Louis - under
SF - under
I guess those two make it smart to play Seattle or Arizona over. I'll take Seattle.
Washington - way under (can you bet way under?)
now that Holcomb is starting, Cleveland over.
I would bet Atlanta under, but I would bet that number is down enough to make the average 8.

Really? GB led the league in takeaways in 2002 with 45 and tied Tampa for the league lead in margin at +17. I would say that's a pretty good defense at forcing turnovers, wouldn't you? ;)

Just bet Dallas under. Bill Parcells may prove me wrong, but only if he starts himself at quarterback. This team is awful and Bill Parcell's "street cred" (way to use a basketball term for a white football coach...props to me) is getting them the higher over. They're just not that good at football.

* = by very tight margins of 1 or 0.5 wins..
(Like I posted before) these wins numbers add up to 265 wins in 256 games, so going under for all teams, could mean winning a lot, however if the Bucs win 0 games amd all other equal thier numbers, you'd only win with your Bucs pick.
