Apparently, he wasn't Russian, but Lithuanian. Imagine my surprise!

Dude, leave the parody to EasyMac. He's not good at it either but we've grown used to him. :)

I'm hurt. Mainly because I was going for a Fritz rather than a Mac. Life has lost all meaning... :(

I sincerely apologize. I knew somebody had done it before Mac but couldn't remember who. I was hoping it wasn't you as that would have been an insult to you but since it was Fritz....

BTW, I never knew the doctor was Lithuanian. I pretty much restrict my russian literature to Dostoevsky with a touch of Solzhenitsyn.

I pretty much restrict my Russian literature to reading the labels on my wife's vodka bottles.

Lithuanian, eh? I had no idea. I always thought he was Estonian.

Had a horrible vodka incident when I was 16. Haven't been able to stand the stuff since. Won't catch me reading vodka labels.

I think he used to be an Estonian but he let it go after he finished college.

Which college did he attend - was it Lenin U. or Stalin U.?

Because of course that would make him either a....

Leningrad

...or a....

Stalingrad

Heh, you took my two spur of the moment jokes. Good job, you bastage. It's both uplifting and scary to know that others as twisted as myself exist. :)

Actually you were more thorough. I was about to type that of course he was a Leningrad but then read further and realized oops, he could be a Stalingrad too. Again, I really appreciate the effort. Nice.

One thing though...being born and raised in the area...he definitely wasn't from St Petersburg so my money is on Stalingrad. ;)

Actually, I believe his name was Marlin Lithu. His followers (dubbed "Lithuans") were all lecherous little linguists who liked licorice.

Vodka is BAD. Very BAD.

If I sniff a bottle cap of the stuff, I get plastered.

I dated a Russian girl once, she could drink about a gallon of the stuff and not get drunk.

Russian word for water: Voda

That should tell you something. :)

Russian version:

Coors Light is BAD. Very BAD.

If I sniff a bottle cap of the stuff, I get nauseated.

LOL.

I haven't had a Coor's in about 7 years. That stuff is nasty.

I would never have subjected her to drinking that. After the way things ended, maybe I should have. . . :)
