View Full Version : Grudge Match!

Last Wednesday after the cup matches, Coffee Warlord and I had a bit of a dispute about who would win if we played in the cup (naturally I would own his team, but that's beside the point). So since we most likely won't see each other in the cup, we decided we'd make our own cup! Each of us selected an ally, if you will, to participate with us.
I chose the mighty Fighting Crawfish and he enlisted the help of the Navy by selecting the North County Raiders.
Now even though it's obvious who will win, we both decided this would be a pretty good idea. So I'm asking the Afoci and AE if they'd want to participate when we are all not in the US or the FOFC cup. In the first week the NCRs would play my Penguins, while the Army of Crawfish with Laser Blasters instead of Claw beat down the CW's Avengers. Then we would swap opponents in the second week. You guys up for it? :)

Well The Afoci's team is similar to mine in that are both center on animals with abnormal powers. I figure with his crawfish army and my penguin airforce our generic named opponents won't stand a chance ;)

Ah ha. How did this get to page 2 with me never seeing it.
Penguin blubber will be used to boil the Crawdads.

Go to hell hippies!
Crawfish and penguins rule!

Yes they most certainly do rule...

Galesburg is close to Snailsburg which definately is not run and shoot. Plus, the grand master of run and shoothood has been seen using pressing as a tactic.
Plus you all smell funny.

Fighting Eagles? Come on that's an animal with special powers! They fight! :p
Anyway I can't wait to see this thing unfold. :)

Only a sick, sick man would eat a creature as noble and proud as the penguin. You will be swiftly beaten for this when the time comes!
Good day, sir!

How did The Afoci get to play Chumley to TP6's Tennessee Tuxedo? I would have thought that Mike Holmgren or Craig Stadler would have fit the role much better.

I'd like to see a trash talking component considered. Winner decided by a poll.

Poll:
Who will win.
End of Poll:
Us.
C Dub, Thanks for all the crawdeads last night. They sure were delicious!

CW, that poll was asinine!
How do you expect to beat me if you can't even keep pace in the real cup? I can definitely see you losing to the Carebears next week! Oh man, won't that be fun :)

Don't forget that AE is probably the worst DIII team ever. And in the Navy. ;) CW on the otherhand has an unhealthy obsession with yaks.

Which will make victory all that more amusing.

I don't know. We might feel bad beating such defenseless opponents. But hey, if you find it funny...

He said you have an unhealthy obsession. :)
That's the pot calling the kettle black.

I'll go the opposite route:
You're the best team NOT in division 4 and you're a great candidate for the Marines.

Because it was our plan to toture you even more after you lose...

A tasty treat of crawfish and beer for our victory dinner isn't exactly torture.
Of course, given your inept team, it doesn't surprise me that you can't even torture properly. :)
The Afoci
12-07-2003, 02:52 PM
No one has the experience in odd tortures that I do. Now, I admit, the time I attempted to torture a YP by sticking his penis in an electric pencil sharpener was uncalled for and total painful, the one we are planning for your squads is much much worse. I heard Ardent likes pencil sharpeners.

Attention The Afoci and losers:
Now that AE is free we can finally get this going. So next week I think we should do Penguins-Raiders and Crawfish-Avengers. Then switch up opponents for the next week. Everybody game?

It's on, you rat bastard. Prepare for DOOM!
Coffee Warlord

Dola. I have issued the Challenge of Doom. Galesburg shall travel to the vile realm of corruption known as 'Fargo', and have themselves a good old fashioned crawfish boil.

Is it odd that when I clicked the button to accept the challenge, I could hear the girly voice of CW shriek? Just wondering.

Congratutlations to the Fighting Crawfish and Airborne Penguins. They win this grudge match because I say so. And the other two teams suck.
