7-Year-Old Gets Stuck In Stuffed Animal Game Machine
Boy Not Injured


SHEBOYGAN, Wis. -- A 7-year-old boy had to be rescued with the help of a locksmith Sunday after crawling into a Sheboygan supermarket's stuffed animal game machine while his father talked on the telephone.

Shift Cmdr. Mark Zittel of the Sheboygan Fire Department said the boy was sitting in the glass enclosure with the stuffed animals when rescuers arrived.

He said the boy, whose name was not released by authorities, somehow crawled through about an 8-by-11-inch opening to get into the machine. The stuffed animals are prizes that can be hooked with a cranelike device.

"He was just relaxed. He wasn't upset. He wasn't crying. It didn't seem like he was upset at all," said Murray Patz, who took pictures of the incident.

Zittel said the boy's father was 3 feet away at a pay phone, and when he turned around the child was in the machine.

He said the boy stayed calm and didn't panic as firefighters responded to the Piggly Wiggly store, moved the machine to the back of the store and got a locksmith to open the main loading door. The process took about an hour.

The boy was not injured, but rescuers haven't figured out how the boy was able to crawl into the game or why no one in the store's busy lobby spotted him and stopped him before he got inside.

Firefighters said the boy and father left Piggly Wiggly without telling them how the boy got trapped in the toy machine.

"We'd like to see how he got through this opening that is basically the size of a paper -- 8 by 11," Zittel said.

Piggly Wiggly has removed the toy machine.

I remember when i was younger my best friend and I would sit around throwing around stupid pun after stupid pun and laughing at how retarded we both were, sometimes we would just shake our heads at how downright stupid each of us were. Found the following "review" about TCTAS on a site that seems aptly named as boardgamegeek.com. Found it funny in context but it comes into it's own out of context.


Definitely shows its age in some of the the mechanics, but still, this is a game that will inspire stories that you remember for ever. I still remember a fire-breathing giant rabbit I designed back in 1978. I started on the water end of the board and moved really slowly, so that my opponent brought in a fireboat and concentrated all his firemen where I started. Then I put on a burst of speed to the other side of the map and burned down half the city. Ah, what a game.

It was also by SPI and it was great because Dawn has always been one of my favorite movies and taking Flyboy and the gang tooling around the mall, killing zombies and locking all the doors was a blast to play too.

Now that sounds interesting, I've never seen the original but I did see the trailer for the remake starring Ving Rhames a few weeks ago and it looks pretty damn good.

Don't know to what extent they are involved but I know that the guys who made the movie in the link provided are working with alot of the folks from night of the living dead on a new movie based the Nazis use of the book of the dead or some such nonesense, im not much into it myself but if you dig zombie flicks you may wanna check it out.

I'll check it out. I am really more into end of the world as we know it type flicks than zombie flicks per se but the Romero flicks combine both so damned well that they are amongst my favorites in either genre.
