In Red Bank... a Dayton Boulevard business owner faces sexual battery charges for allegedly spanking two of his female employees.

Detectives say the 19-year-old women were spanked by their employer at the Sno Biz on Dayton Boulevard.

They claimed their boss, 57-year-old Paul Eugene Levengood, made them sign a contract saying, quote, "I give Gene permission to bust my behind any way he sees fit."

<Jay Lamance, Red Bank Detective "Their employer would spank them when they did something wrong...very minor things wrong...messing up an order, you know, one girl forgot to close one of the back doors when customers were there, things like that.">

Detective Lamance says the girls certainly did not take the wording of the contract literally, but only in the context that they would be disciplined for mistakes.

The Cleveland man faces a preliminary court hearing in Red Bank next Tuesday morning.

If it is his known policy, then they have a choice whether or not to work for him.
