When drafting QBs in FOF, should the player's height be taken into consideration? With the rare exception of Doug Flutie, most QBs seem to need to be tall enough to see over the OL and DL. But is it really a factor in this game?

Nope. Height is purely cosmetic in FOF, for QBs and other players.

i heard it wasn't. just weight. i still like to steer away from shorter guys cuz real life GM's do.

one vote yes, one vote no.
If I had to guess, I'd say weight would be the meaningful rating, since I believe it does change from season to season (or is that only in TCY?). I would expect he would not have factored weight changes into the game if they were meaningless. But height is the thing I'm concerned with.
There's this 5'9" QB I'm thinking of drafting....

what you mean "one vote yes, one vote no"? common knowledge that height doesn't play a role in ratings/stats. draft away.

Sorry. I misunderstood your other post...thought you were disputing Fantastic Flying Froggies statement that height was cosmetic.
Thanks to all for your help!

And since we're now labeling people based on their username.
What does it matter how tall he is when all he needs to do is take the snap and hand it off to his halfback?

Thanks SackAttack.
So I'm convinced, height has no meaning in FOF. Now, it might be a great feature to add to any future version. It'd be nice to know that a taller QB would have an advantage over a shorter one, and a taller WR would have a definite advantage over a shorter CB.
This all brings up another question though. In my TCY career, I see a HUGE amount of passes blocked at the line. I've always thought this might be a result of some ratio of QB height: DL height. Maybe not. Is the consensus the same for TCY: height doesn't matter?
