Have the Turd Burglars formed yet? Because I couldn't find them.

one more thing how do I accept the contract offer? never mind I got it.
I can't remember exactly either. It may be Matthew 10:29 or 31, but I don't think so. And I can't take credit for the wonderful photo, I googled it up.

I have a question I want to release a single but money is short, how do I either get more money, or is 1 day in the studio enough to make a single?
I don't have a way to transfer money at the moment unfortunately. And even if I could, there's only about $500 in the label account at the moment. If you only havev enough money to record for a day, I would recommend you tour for 1-3 months nonstop before you release, or you won't even cover the costs of your cd as you only get $2 for each copy sold.

I'll now start the band profiles:
Alabaster Bible Church
ABC is a Hardcore Punk band that hails from Boston. They are on the ground-level as far as groupies and popularity go, but the talent in ABC is something that most bands envy. They also seem to have won over the hearts and minds of many women with their looks. However, with the women that Hardcore Punk attracts, that may not be a good thing necessarily. ABC seems to be a dedicated band that has a lot of upside and Sparrow Records expects them to go gold, if not platinum in the future.
We had 1 release a month ago, two this month, and one next month:

Lenaing on the rock will be releasing in a few months we will probably have 4 songs so we may release 2 different singles and we would like to do so with both under th sparrow label as we see them having alot of upside and like the community in genral. Two months ago we spent the whole month practicing alone, at our homes.( I accidentally had them rest 30 days with it set on practice at home). I feel this practice has made us the most talented band in the nation even though we are bored and looking for aliitle more joy in our work.
Band Profile:
Bandacoot
Bandacoot is a Hard Rock band from Memphis, TN. They have already released a single entitled, "Genocide". Genocide has sold a humble 1,250 copies so far, but it's a good start regardless. They are currently ranked 12th in both popularity and number of groupies in the Hard Rock ccategory. One thing that Bandacoot needs is a little happiness. There have been reports that if things don't straighten up, guitarist Emmett Varela might leave the band.

Ya like that? it was an accident but maybe we can profit from it. Also on another note I have been getting only 15 dollars a show, and maybe I will be able to increase that but I dunno why Im not getting more. on the upside Ill be touring 28 days this month and that should bring in some more money.

Relient K seems like they have the most potential of all my bands. With Casting Crowns, I sold out of the initial 7000 copies, so I went and ordered 50,000 more. No telling how many actually sell.

I got the looks but I'm not popular!
You need to do some touring to get popularity up. 28 day touring is best. Or when you rest, try Hanging with groupies or seeing friends bands play.

Spotlighted Genre: Soft Rock
Soft Rock emerged in the early '70s, partially as a reaction to the extreme sounds of the late '60s. Soft rock was commercial and inoffensive, taking the sound of singer/songwriter and pop/rock but smoothing out all the edges. Bands like Bread, the Carpenters, and Chicago relied on simple, melodic songs with big, lush productions. Throughout the '70s, soft rock dominated the airwaves and it eventually metamorphosed into the synthesized sounds of adult contemporary in the '80s.
In the Music Maven community, Casting Crowns (http://www.music-maven.com/mm3/bandcard.php?BandID=425) is commonly regarded as one of the top Soft Rock bands.

Didn't realize it until now, but welcome to The Blues Men (http://www.music-maven.com/mm3/bandcard.php?BandID=651), owned by Doug5984. Didn't realize that was you Doug, welcome to Sparrow!
The Blues Men are releasing thier first single tonight!
(this is my 2nd band, my other one- Double D & The Usuals is part of FOFC Live- it will be fun to see the 2 compete against each other :))
The OC Supertones WERE releasing a single tonight. Until I try to log onto them and get the message that they don't exist anymore.
And then get this message:
3/3/2005: Please limit yourself to 2 bands per person.
Could have said this in the FAQ earlier, huh? Oh right, there is no freakin FAQ.

Office Pimps, despite the fact that they are horribly struggling and have no cohesion whatsoever, would like to protest the pissant amount of money they've received from their label for producing.
How can we put out our QUALITY MUSIC at such a pittance? HOW?
So what if 13 people came to see us last night in Springfield? They came to see us sing Hack and Slash, motherfucker. They came to see us sing Shock and Awe. Hell, they'll come to see some new shit we came up with. We were all drunk by the time we finished, so we just called it We Is and went home.

Well for Leaning on the Rock happiness is low so we are touring 14 days next month and hope to rack in around 20k and then we are resting 17 days, playing music maven. That should raise happiness, and then maybe release the next month. A few questions, does it matter how well you know the song when you release it? and how many days should you record?

Ungrateful bands, I swear. Give a band the highest contract ever given at the time and all they do is gripe, gripe, gripe. The better you know the song, the higher your release will be rated if I understand right. That and how talented your musicians are.

I seem to remember that being the case in MM2. If you can afford to spend more time in studio, the better. I've spent 10 days on both of mine and the singles end up being about 10 points higher rated than the songs that make them up. Then again, I'm also working with some pretty high dollar producers and studios. I don't want to give away all of my secrets, but it's fairly easy to find the best buy point ;)
Also, yes, the better you know your song, the better the release will be too. I don't remember about the musician talent- I can't speak to that one way or the other.
I have some fairly detailed notes I took back in MM2 but I'm not entirely sure where those are. :(
