Win or lose, Fresno State fans have to be delighted with this.
Ah we're a fickle bunch. Last year there were calls to fire Hill when the team dropped three straight.

I'm pretty happy, but disappointed. I had hopes coming in that we could play with the Trojans, and possibly have a chance at the end. I'm disappointed because the team played very well, and very poorly tonight. Pinegar didn't take care of the ball tonight. The O-Line played as well as I had hoped. The DBs were good as usual. I think Marshall will soon be playing on Sundays. The DL did pretty well, but along with the linebackers had quite a few problems with Bush tonight. Not that I can really hold that against them. Reggie Bush is the best player in College Football, and he strapped the rest of his team onto his back tonight and carried them.

USC defense just gets a lot of turnover...
My own sundevils threw 5 picks in the USC game...the team has thrown 5 other picks the entire season...usc defense just makes plays...gives up a lot of yardage but gets some big turnovers too

I'd say 99 out of 100 fans couldnt name a WR on UCLA. Imagine if Olson had Smith and Jarrett?

Thought for the first one Ryan Diniwiddie, they said he had a perfect rating in one game back when he was a junior....as for TD ratio, how did that treat him in the UofA game i was at...he did REALLY good in that 52-14 loss...:)

Actually both Rudy Carpenter and Tim Hiller are not eligible to win the rating award otherwise you'd have a point.

But you are correct on the other point. Drew Olson's rating was an average 302% in that game. As for the UofA loss, it wasn't the DO's fault we lost the game.

Well, the question is kinda skewed, since although UCLA don't have great WR's, I think most knowlegable fans would know Marcedes Lewis is one of the best TE's in the country and everybody knows how dangerous Mo Drew is coming out of the backfield.

Not saying Olson isn't good - he'd be in my top five. I think that you actually have to wish that Fresno didn't put up a lot of points, because now USC has been reminded the defense is vulnerable. Had USC kept Fresno to 15-20 as they have been doing everyone else since ND, then you really would have had a chance to catch them by surprise.

I still think UCLA push us ridiculously close. I'd say about 42-35 with SC pulling it out at the end.

Little bit of interesting information from the Dallas Morning News on the TT/OU game.

Fox Sports' end zone camera seemed to indicate Henderson landed on his back before the ball crossed the goal line.

Not much that really can be done, of course. But it'll be interesting to see whether OU lets it drop or files an appeal. I would doubt they push it since they had so many chances to stop TT on that drive and didn't.

It's up to the league office to determine what action would then be taken, if any.

The OU coaches would have additional angles of Taurean Henderson's 2-yard touchdown run that Fox Sports wouldn't have. Instant replay officials were not made available to the media after the game to discuss what they saw.

"There's a really clear, distinct approach," OU athletic director Joe Castiglione said, "and you always know what that is, and it's up to each team to use it as they see fit."


Part of me thinks they won't push it because if they beat OSU next week, they go to the Holiday Bowl most likely. And some suggested the Cotton Bowl wanted TT anyway, and OU wanted the Holiday Bowl anyway.
