You should really think about hiring another person to man yourcustomer service hotline. I have called everyother day for about 1 week now and I have only gotten through once after a 2.5 hour wait. Today, its been 1.5 hours so far and your music sucks!!! So I guess you guys are winning since I usually hang up by now but today is my day off!!! Im in for the long haul....OH!!! and just because I bought something online should not preclude me from skipping your punishing waittime by going up to the store which while filthy and dank, is only 3 minutes from my house. How do you compete with Lowes?

If you purchased something online you can't go to the store?

I'm pretty sure Home Depot takes pride in it's appalling customer service.

Used to be the opposite. Once a company hits a certain size, they seem to be unable to keep up good customer service. What's funnier is they are more exclusive about who they hire, yet their employees are not as competent.

Actually, I think that's pretty common these days. It's a function of a lot of companies having their brick-and-mortar operation completely separate from their online operations (which are often farmed out to 3rd parties).

Poorly, best I can tell ;)
