View Full Version : Haircut Day is Not the Best Day

It was haircut day. My hair, not requiring much in the way of skill or finesse, is taken care of by the folks at Sport Clips, primarily due to the fact that it's a minute away. My instructions are basically as such "like you see, except shorter". Basically, the sides get clippers, the top is scissored. Usually they store this info in their computer, but they got a new system, and so everything's gone.

No familiar faces working today, so I get New Girl. Bad omen.

New Girl proceeded to get batshit insane with the clippers, go WAY too high on the sides, and, long story short, thanks to that fuckup my hair is essentially buzzed.

Grr.

Sports clips is terrible, I'll never go back there. It's Custom Cuts for me. ;)

I mean, how hard is a 1-4?

You guys need to start going to barbershops. There are WAY too many disgruntled/unqualified workers in those "supercuts, hair cuttery, etc" type places to risk getting your hair cut by anyone there.

Who the hell goes to boutique haircut places. Be a real man and go to a real barber.

I haven't had a haircut in 5 and a half months. I love life.

One year Dad decided he was going to save money on haircuts, so he bought an electric haircutter kit. At first everything went fine, but then he gave us haircuts. They were horrible. Then everything seemed to be going fine for a while, but then he gave us haircuts again. So I guess, mostly, it was a good idea.

I finally buzzed it to the scalp for the first time a couple weeks back. Wish I'd done it five years ago.
