As someone else said, men age very well, and most women prefer older men, especially when it comes to a serious relationship.

Trust me on this. I spent my entire twenties fucking women and drinking (not necessarily in that order). I look back at it now, and what a complete waste of time that decade was for me. I met my wife five years ago and couldn't be happier. Oh, and I am 6 1/2 years older than her.

Women...I love them, but, damn what a bunch of weirdos. I'm sure they say the same thing about us men, but, we are pretty simple to figure out and keep happy and the forumla is well known and published.

So I was down in Starbucks on Saturday night, talking to my Starbucks-gals (used to know one of them who started there right as I left, so we chat and are just sorta friendly - every so often it gets me a free cup of coffee or whatever, and they introduce me to the new workers).

So the newer girl is talking about how on Saturday morning at like 6am she got a text message and a phonecall from her ex-BF back in Texas. So she tells that whole story, then I fill her in on the 20-second "bitch from cleveland story."

Lo and behold, Sunday morning I awaken to a text-message (sent an hour before I woke up):

TCB (~9:30am): "Good morning!"
Me (~10:30am): Morning"
TCB (~1pm): "How are you?"
Me (~1:30pm): "Doin alright. Same ole shit."

TCB (8:30pm): "Do you ever miss [bleeping] me?
Me (thinking to myself): "First off there was no actual [bleeping], it was all long distance on the phone and shit. WTF kind of question is that?"
Me (9:30pm): "LOL...interesting question. Motivated by what?"
TCB: "Just asking a passing interest question is all."
Me: "I see."
TCB: "Ran into some of our old conversations today cleaning out some shit."
TCB: "Didn't mean to offend."
Me: "Eh - No offense taken. Was just out of the blue"
TCB: "So do you?"
Me: "Haven't really thought about it in a long time - so I guess that's a no."
TCB: "Gotcha. Just had to ask. Some of the conversations we had were hot. I guess I have to agree, just hadn't thought about it either."

She strikes me as an attention whore.

By responding to her texts, by answering her calls, you are giving her what she wants. Namely, attention.

The real way to get back at her is to just ignore her completely.
