Well this deserves a birthday song....
http://www.almarks.com/cartman/hbcartman.htm
I'm gonna take this time
To give up props to this guy
I'm gonna let you know....ow...oo....ow,
Before he applies the chokehold, so I will just say
Happy birthday cartman, someone repeat it...
Happy birthday cartman
Just want to wish a happy birthday cartman
Happy birthday cartman, ooh whoa!
I asked him last year, where's a good place to meet, meet, meeee,
Decided on Salt Lick, a great place to eat, eat, eeeat,
And after we ate our meal, he said it's my treat, treat, treat......
When we eat again, we'll save him a seat, seat, seat, so we can tell him...
(chorus)
Happy birthday cartman, I mean Greg Gowins
Happy birthday cartman, born on July 5th
Happy birthday cartman
Happy birthday cartman, yo yo!
I'm gonna take this time
To give up props to this guy
I'm gonna let you know....ow...oo....ow,
Before he applies the chokehold
If ya don't know by now, cartman runs a cool league, league, league!
When I played him on X-box, he said my game was weak, weak, weak!
We learned in the kitchen that he's a cooking freak, freak, freak!
Thanks for that Thanksgiving, that was such a great feat, feat, feat, so I will just say
(chorus)
Happy birthday cartman
Happy birthday cartman
Happy birthday cartman
Happy birthday cartman
Well I had to give props to Mr. Greg Gowins today. Very cool, low-key guy that has done much for us before we moved to Austin.
In fact, while we were still located in Phoenix and trying to figure out a place to stay, our funds were low and couldn't afford more than one trip to visit apartments. Greg was instrumental in steering us away from some of the bad areas so I wouldn't waste my time visiting them on my single trip.
And when we did move to Austin, he invited us (me, wife and kids) over on a few occasions. Considering we don't have family out here, it was very cool when we were invited to Thanksgiving and met some of his family members and his niece and my son battled it out for toy supremacy.
<table width="800"><tbody><tr><td>http://www.almarks.com/lorena/Thanksgiving2007/TurkeySetup.jpg</td><td>Upon visiting his place, we got to experience how they set up deep frying a turkey. This home-made contraption looked odd but was very effective.</td></tr><tr><td>http://www.almarks.com/lorena/Thanksgiving2007/FryingTurkey.jpg</td><td>With closer inspection, you begin to realize why they are using the strange contraption to deep fry a turkey. The very dangerous grease splatters.</td></tr><tr><td>http://www.almarks.com/lorena/Thanksgiving2007/IMG_0025.jpghttp://www.almarks.com/lorena/Thanksgiving2007/mashing.jpghttp://www.almarks.com/lorena/Thanksgiving2007/WCPie.jpg</td><td>As Greg whips up some stuff in the kitchen, Lorena tries get a snapshot of the upcoming meal. And nothing can beat that white chocolate almond pecan pie.</td></tr></tbody></table>
So once again....thanks cartman and have a great birthday. Coolest guy outside of Austin.
