I have a question I wanna PM over but the gist of it is that HR altered a document I signed and was wondering if there any actions I could possibly take?

Jesus. Not an HR/Labor Law expert, but I believe there are many actions you can take. If it's important enough, it's worth getting a quick opinion from a lawyer in your jurisdiction. If you don't know one, call your state bar, and they'll help you out with referrals, and how much something like that might cost.

That's possible fraud, or at the very least makes the document invalid unless you've initialed it after the fact.

I'm no lawyer, but it's my understanding that a signed agreement between two parties is no longer valid if it's been altered (without both parties acknowledging said change).

No argument, but the joke works better if Bug is Jamie. ;)

It's been modified because they spelled my name wrong. It's not something I pointed out and I have another exact copy of the original. It also wasn't a document included in my employee file when I requested my whole file, yet it was something I signed
