Actually, I'll be heading out soon so I guess I can't do a whole lot but I'll kick it off.
I was afraid the Bengals would take 15 mins after Tagliabue went to the podium. Thankfully they only took about a minute. I don't think it should be that tough since they already signed him to a fat contract and all.

OOPS! I have ESPN's draftcast on, and they put up Jason Johnson (QB) as the #3 pick for 15 seconds or so.

I dunno if I like this pick. I thought he was pretty overrated. Basically, that Miami factor. Maybe I'm just biased, tho.

I understand his appeal. He's just too much "over the top".
A few years ago my Bergman was thinking of one of his "crazy" names for Carlos Delgado. He was asking for help on the air (I think this was the time when he was still doing baseball tonight). Anyway, my Boss called in and left a message saying Carlos "Innagodda" Delgado would be a good "fake" name. (I know it sucks, but thats not the point of this). Anyway, Bergman proceeded to use it and flaunt it. Didn't thank anyone for it, not even so much as an espn hat. I wonder how many other people's things he stole without credit. Stuff like that really bothers me.

Sigh....didn't I warn you they'd take a DE? And one who appears to be a reach as well-not even a second rounder on some boards?

I think Harris is overrated. Foster could be the top OT in 5-10 years.

A center?
Well they seem to like it.

I thought they might go with Boss Bailey, guess he will be left for Indy to choose now.
Faine is a good pick.

Henderson is expected to be a 1st rounder. Maybe KC @ 27 or SD @ 30?
Id love to see Boss Bailey slip to the Lions in the 2nd, but dont see it happening.
Coffee Warlord
04-26-2003, 02:24 PM
Grossman might actually be good, for one single reason. The Bears have Kordell, so they don't have to throw Rex into the fire year 1. Guy might actually learn how to play for a year or two before he takes to the field.

I don't think the Bills made a good move with Willis. They NEED Defensive help (their offense is fine). And they have a pro-bowl RB in Henry.

I think the Bills are fine defensively. They do have some depth issues up front, but they have many picks. If Willie is develops into his potential, with a promising young line that looks to be good, the Bills may be awesome here.

Wouldn't that be something if San Diego, gets rid of Seau and plugs in the Boss :D.

Woolfolk would scare me with only 1 season as a CB. Little higher than I thought he would go.

Why? MacGahee was only a starter for one year. Palmer only had one good year. Woolfolk split time at WR and CB the season before and corner is actually his natural position. I understand he's a little raw on technique, but I say this guy is easily the third best corner in the draft.

I think Leftwich is better than Palmer so I wouldnt have made Palmer the 1st QB taken.
McGahee was damn good in his full season. Being behind Portis his first year is understandable. There is speculation that McGahee knew he wouldnt win the starting job back so he bolted(Link (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfldraft/tracker/player?id=7089) ) I would have picked him in the 2nd round, even with the injury.
Woolfolk IS probably the 3rd best corner in the draft. I dont dispute that. Athletic as hell and fast. Just has very little experience and will have serious growing pains IMO. I thought(and was wrong) that he would be picked in the 2nd round.

I agree with almost everything you say here. My point was that he has just as much experience as anyone else. I also think he will have some growing pains, but I figured he deserved to be a first rounder.
