I think the stuff about allies, armies is good but also you have to think that the neutrals have kind of sat on the sidelines so far and probably want a bigger role.

That goes back to what you were thinking before -- Stark has all the defected bannermen already. What is another one in the scheme of things? We are the House that can really appreciate that extra bannerman and the only other one that can challenge them when we get to the endgame.

Greyjoy can't -- they have no army. Lannister is by himself. Who knows where Stannis is going to be after this upcoming battle.

I used Darth's proxy PM to contact him as well, he asked what gold and land we might offer.

The PM I was telling you about earlier was from a Stark bannerman telling us, and I quote, "Fuck it, we're in".

Stark flat out told me his initial idea was to put together a grand alliance to crush us in this battle, but the Stannis relationship basically started getting too strained.

We definitely have no long-term agreement of any kind. No point in one at this stage as far as I can tell.

She PM'd me this morning saying she was representing Joffrey and wanted to know basically what side I was going to go with, and that in return Joffrey would bend after the battle.

Do you think she has any sway with him on this? He's been pretty much silent.

I'm not waiting more than today. It's been long enough as is. If we don't hear anything today we'll either have you guys grab land or more likely raid Stannis and then go to war tomorrow.

I will also buy mercenaries for both of you for raiding/capturing tonight and the next battle.

Nice. We'll need those ships. My guess is that counting mercs we could have close to 100K men between the three of us and more ships than Stannis can provide. I like our chances even if Joffrey joins him.
