I am sure most of us are all for not judging either sex by their desire for sex. (Or even whatever number or sexual partners they may have in college.) the thing is though, is alot of people have cast judgement with knowledge given to them BEFORE THE FACT. you all got a chance to read her slutty power point presentation and then see a picture and make a decision that you would or wouldnt be attracted to her. take away the presentation, take away the fact that you DONT know that shes a tramp and maybe not your cup of tea in the personality department and your views would almost certainly change.

It's hard to think of three words that peg my doucheometer quicker than 'Duke lacrosse player', although I suppose 'Duke frat boy' and 'Duke baseball player' might be close behind. I think this power point presentation serves as evidence as to why those stereotypical lifestyles both attract and revile:

A) You'll get way more 'pussy' than the other losers on campus
B) It's more communal than you may have originally figured

I'm far from a "moralist", and I am in my early (almost mid) 30s. I am not delusional or idealistic enough to believe that every chick out there has only banged so few guys that I could count them on one hand. I'm actually quite curious about this. For people above age...well, let's say 26...how many sexual partners do you think the average male or female has had?

I was hanging out with some friends the other day, and someone mentioned that ideally he was looking for a girl that had had 3 or 4 sexual partners at most. We're all right around age 30, and I was completely blown away that he would expect to find someone with a number that low.

I'm not making any judgment one way or the other on this one. From the only evidence at hand, she might be pretty attractive in person. She also might be rather unattractive. There's just not enough evidence to make a definitive call on this one.

Exactly. We read her power point, and some of us were not impressed with how she expresses her personality. Saw a somewhat fuzzy picture of her, she doesn't overly impress there either. And thus in a thread where the subject is about her hooking up with popular college guys, lots of the posters are saying she isn't desirable to them. Don't see how its that different from striking up a short conversation with a woman in a dark bar or cafe and deciding she isn't for you.

Fantastic. I actually have played with kids on the Duke roster (thankfully none of them listed) and coached a couple currently verballed to them. If you think this is any different than what happens at any other college campus with d1 athletics, or really any college campus with alcohol and bars you're mistaken. Although I will say we had better looking lacrossetitutes sleeping through parts of the club lacrosse team at UMass, let alone the varsity... :lol: Oh - and at least the lacrosse players beat out the baseball and tennis players in the rankings. I would guess the bigger concern would be the mentioned athletes - I'm not sure what qualifies as libel and where the line for liability gets drawn between the author and the publisher of something like that (and don't care enough to find out), but common decency at least should make someone pause before (re-)publishing something like this. Although common decency clearly left Deadspin when they became Gawker-ized and started caring more about publishing stories about athletes dicks than finding funny sports stories. (Not that I have some moral high ground - I just thought their previous style was a lot more interesting.)FYI, I find that starting a sentence with "I don't want to offend anyone, but" is usually not the best thing.
