With my daughter home sick today, I was able to play Purdue during her nap.

Zach Longshore no longer needs to worry about any records, as he owns a whole bunch of them. I must have had 5 or 6 of those little "That does it, he has broken X record" comments today. En route to a 70-20 victory over Purdue, Longshore had 34 carries for 540 yards and 9 TDs. I basically ran him every time he was on the field. Sampson hit on 8 of 8 passes when Longshore was taking breathers.

He now owns the following records:

NCAA Records:

Longshore broke two records held by USC's Mike Archie.

540 rushing yards in a single game
84 rushing TDs in his career

Indiana Records:

Rushing TDs (Career) 84
Rushing TDs (Game) 9
Rushing TDs (Season) 37
Rushing yds (Career) 5357
Rushing yds (Game) 540
Rushing yds (Season) 1919

I hope to get him up over 2000 yards on the season against USC.

Following our thrashing of 1-9 Purdue, we dropped to #5 in the BCS in Week 14. Week 15 saw us move up to #4 in the Top 25, but still stuck at #5 in the BCS rankings. Here are the standings heading into Week 15:

Code:
Rank BCS 1. Texas 12-0 1 2. Rutgers 11-0 2 3. UAB 11-0 3 4. Indiana 10-1 5 5. Michigan 10-1 4 6. Clemson 11-1 6 7. Washington 11-1 7 8. Boise St 11-1 9 9. Notre Dame 9-2 8 10. BYU 11-1 12

Key Games:
#4 IU (10-1) at #13 USC (9-2)
#22 SDSU (10-1) at #2 Rutgers (11-0)

Obviously, at this point we need a lot of help. We will be pulling hard for San Diego State to upend Rutgers. We also have some conference championship games that could help us if we beat USC. It's been frustrating that we keep getting leapfrogged in the BCS rankings, but it's our own fault, since we lost badly to the Golden Domes. Bastards. Stay tuned!
