Revised IU football schedule to include ninth game vs. West team that finishes in same spot – The Daily Hoosier

Info on the scheduling. This is an interesting twist:

“We will play eight games, plus one, with a very unique champions week,” Alvarez said during a press conference aired on BTN on Wednesday.

“The teams from East and West will match up, and play one another. Two vs. two, three vs. three, four vs. four, etc., with the championship game being played at the end of that week, Dec. 18 or 19. It gives everyone an opportunity to play nine games.”
