I'm terrible at this game. I was doing okay until I had a few missions where I lost a lot of high-experience guys. Once that happened, the aliens got the advantage on the battlefield, and the last few battles were basically one-sided slaughters. My son says I should try playing on "Easy". I guess he doesn't like a challenge.
I think I'll try to spread experience around more in my next game.
