My boss has allowed his playoff tickets to go up in a drawing today... 20 people are up for them, so I have a 5% chance of getting totally free tickets...
So, what's the best way to rig a drawing like this? I'm asking for a friend.

The best way to rig the drawing is to put my name in there. I'm feeling lucky.

I lost the Bengals tickets... to the only effing Steelers fan in the drawing out of the 19 others. That's not a good sign.
But I feel a bit more comforted after reading what The Sports Guy had to say about this game. At any rate, I am scared about this game, but hopefully the stripes can pull it out! Go Bengals! I'll be back for my deserved ass whoopin' if they lose on Monday.

His article got me thinking too. I wonder how many points are being given simply because one team is named Steelers and the other is Bengals. Like if the Bengals had the exact same personnel, but were called the Colts, what would the spread be? I may lay a small wager down on the Bengals. Last edited by Desnudo : 01-06-2006 at 05:01 PM. |

I haven't seen much arrogance from Colt's fans... I think most are thrilled with the team and feel very good about our chances this season but will also admit that they're still a bit uneasy with the idea of facing the Pats even in the dome. It would be pretty stupid for a Colts fan to exhibit any arrogance or talk trash to Pats fans considering we haven't won shit yet.

It's time for me to pull out the "Pittsburgh Steelers Polka." If I do that, the Bengals are in big trouble.
I'm not that excited, since if they do win the get to play the Colts. Great. Last year stabbed me in the heart, and it made it worse that my dad is a Patriots fan. |

I was sick the last 2 days, but here I am... back to express my disappointment at the loss. Hell, I thought I would feel a lot worse after the game, but after Carson went down (with what I told my wife seconds after the play was a blown knee) I figured it was all over. They almost were able to pull it out with Kitna in there, but you just had to figure after Palmer went out that they weren't going to be able to pull it out.
Now that the Bengals are out of it, hopefully the Colts can go all the way and win SB XL.
