Xbox Controllers
So...
Someone might be able to help me here. My Xbox took a dump a while ago, I finally replaced the HD and the DVD drive in it...well, I have also found that my 2 kids have managed to break my controllers... Well, I could probably take them apart, and attempt to fix the issues. Has anyone tried this...right now, it is like the X key or the right thumb stick are the issues. 2nd, what are the better controllers out there. 3rd, anyone selling any used controllers?

I have a buncha extras lying around, although they're mostly the "Duke" controllers - the ginormous ones that shipped with the system, and two or three extras that I bought for Halo.
Other 'n that...I prefer the Controller S and the Logitechs. (Although the licensed sports pads from Mad Catz ain't half bad.) |

I was able to take them apart and fix one, the other is shot... So at least I can play....

Really? Wow. I remember back in the day, everything Mad Catz made either broke in the first week or was just generally awful. |

I'm a little surprised, truthfully, but the Clippers pad they sent me, while it's not as good as the official stuff or the Logitech controller, it's still pretty solid.
Enough to where I might have to buy one of the Dodger pads next month. |

Because in this case, Duke is pronounced with a long e.

He hasn't asked me for one, and I'm not Santa Claus. I don't have a book that will magically tell me his address, nor can I squeeze my hairy fat ass down his chimney and leave one under the tree for him. If he wants one, he's gonna have to address one of those two problems. |
