Ignoring Starters in Playoffs
I posted this in the main forum too.
I am in the 2001 playoffs watching all of my games. The CPU has decided to ignore my Game Plan. I had Brian Dawkins and Levon Kirkland has starters. Dawkins played in 2 plays (he wasn't hurt either) and Kirkland none. Neither of 2 CBs played a single play. Their seem to be no problems with the offense. I have the willingness to play injured players set to 50. Not sure how to prove this but it did happen. Todd

What are the settings for playing starters in the game plan set up? If it is set low and there is not much drop off between the starter and the backup, there backup will get the bulk of the playing time. My scout has set the playing time for some of my starters at 2 because they are better than they backup, but have less endurance. You might also check the game log to see if they were hurt on a play, but not seriously enough to be listed on the injury report the following week.

I am now in the 2002 preseason. When watching the games my starters are being ignored still. I went back and looked at the 2000 and 2001 preseasons and 2000 playoffs and it appears to have happened then.
I then just simmed, didn't watch my most recent preseason game and no problems. Thus, my conclusion is that the problem exists only in the pre and post season when watching the games. Does anyone else just watch their games? If so, can someone verify this or is it a problem with my game only. KCChief, These starters play in like 3 or 4 plays in the game and they are far and away better players. The playing time was set to about 6 or 7 for most of those keys. I also did check the game logs for minor injuries.
