FOF 2004: Flu outbreak!!!

I did a quick search and didn't find any threads on this. But I click on my injury report after my 2nd game of the season and I see...

That's THIRTEEN players infected with the flu!!! I've never seen this before and it's kinda funny, except next week I play at the defending champion Colts. Has anyone ever seen this before? And how screwed am I gonna be if I play these guys? That's a good portion of my starting lineup, so I can't bench them all in such an important game. I'll dola after I sim the next game

Yeah, it's relatively common. There's not usually much you can do, so I usually suck it up and play most of these guys anyway. I don't believe I've ever seen anybody "aggravate" their flu injury -- and they almost always return to full strength on or ahead of schedule.

Yeah - there's (probably?) a performance hit, but that's about it.

Well, we sure took a performance hit. We were 2 point favorites and we lost 22-12 to Indy. They had over 200 yds passing&running, plus were 9/16 on 3rd down. They also had 2 TD's called back due to penalties (and ended up with FG's). So without those it could have been 30-12. Almost all of them are 100% now except for like 4 guys.

Just wanted to post it on here, cuz it's the first time I've seen it. New team rule: No more spreading the flu before the biggest game of the season

IR eveybody you don't want. You can cut them when healthy, or just leave them on IR.
