A Scanner Darkly
The film was finally released in Australia last week and I caught it yesterday. I walked away very impressed. It's been years since I read the book, yet it seemed to stay close to the book and everything and everybody pretty much looked how I'd imagined them to look. Even my girlfriend enjoyed it, which I definately didn't expect.
Anyone else catch this film?

Yeah. I'd say I was pleasantly surprised. It won't break into any Top Tens in my book, but it wasn't nearly as pretentious as Linklater's borefest "Waking Life." Plus, the real-time animation was a great way to do the identity suit.

I saw it when it came out a few months back... i feel very neutral about it at this point. Not one of the better movies i saw this year nor one of the worst.
