Manning on SNL

I love Peyton Manning. Haven't watched SNL in years, but I wanted to see the laser, rocket armed man on there.

I saw the first half and thought it was pretty funny. The NCAA show skit was actually really good.

They'll be there. For best results, look for listings that don't include the word "SNL" - those are the first to be taken down.

They were really stretching for "upsets" to use in that skit - it's been a pretty boring tournament.

The United Way spoof was pretty damn funny (especially the Carmelo Anthony-snitching reference)

It was basically impossible for them to use the "Manning chokes" joke with any real fit, so they had to go with Arizona, who I didn't realize was "supposed to make the elite eight".

But anyway, I thought he did a good job last night - he seemed to be a little more into it than Tom Brady was two years ago.

I was looking for that one where Manning was sitting outside with his wife drinking coffee, and just saying crap like "I slow danced with the dog today", and "I walked around today with a piece of ham in my pocket just so that I would have a secret.", but no luck thus far.

Thanks... do you happen to be able to find the Law & Order Acting school skit from a couple months ago?

That one was amazing. My friend had it Tivo'd and we watched it 3 or 4 times.

We watched a little bit, but turned it off halfway through that Bronx Talk Show or whatever it was. The United Way skit was pretty funny, though.

FYI, NBC puts the skits on their own website now. That's why it's not found easily on youtube.

http://www.nbc.com/Saturday_Night_Live/index2.shtml

Right now, there is only a couple Manning ones, including the United Way skit.

I liked the United Way one, and also the basketball one where he peed himself a bit... and did funny dancing.

The monologue had a funny bit: "What does Tom Brady and the circus have in common? They both have two more rings than you."

The United Way skit was hilarious. Stole from the classic Joe Namath pegging kids commercial ("Still got a few bullets left in the ol' gun!"), which is always gold.

The idea of Peyton Manning calling audibles in a pickup game with children is realistic enough to be hilarious.

While I agree with the sentiment, that has to be one of the more obnoxious sigs I can remember seeing on here in some time.

The United Way skit was hillarious. I didn't see the NCAA one on the NBC site and looks like it was pulled form youtube. Anyone have a link for the NCAA one?
