Wireless internet connection question

For some reason all of a sudden my laptop has no wireless connection. It is as if the wireless card does not exist. I can't search for available networks, etc...

I know my internet service is working because my desktop is fine. Any reason why this could be happening. Gueses?

check device manager. Make sure it's all functioning properly. Hell, you might even deactivate it and then reactivate it through device manager to see if that fixes it...

When I go to internet connections the place where I can usually search for a wireless network in range isn't there.

is there a function button on your keyboard to disable and enable radio?

if i hit function + F2, it turns off the wireless card, regardless of any other settings, and it stays that way even after i reboot.

didnt you go to a computer school?
