Knocked Up

Not sure who else saw this movie, but easily the funniest movie of the year. It actually made me enjoy Katherine Heigel, and man, did she look amazing. Probably the best comedy since the 40 year old virgin... but still behind Anchorman.

And if you get squeamish looking at a woman birthing a baby (and I mean looking...), you may want to turn away for a little while when watching.

lol, I was just thinking about starting a thread about this movie. Saw it tonight, the same gu who wrote the 40 year old virgin wrote and directed this.

Awesome movie, easily the funniest I have seen in a long time.

The funniest person in the movie was that Asian girl who was dating the guy with the beard. She was freaking hilarious.

Really, Really enjoyed it. And i thought it was actually a better movie than I anticipating it being.

Judd Apatow delivers again, Seth Rogan's career will probably rightfully take a big step forward. I find him to be an absurdly likeable character on screen in everything he's been in. Oddly in some ways, i think he's one of the most charismatic actors out there.

I haven't seen this movie yet (tomorrow, most likely). But I have had this sneaking suspicion that Seth Rogan would be loved on this board, as he seems to be the acerbic, non-descript looking nerd that dominates this board.

It was a great movie - a lot of fun. I liked Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann a lot as well.

I enjoyed it. I don't know about "best comedy in 20 years" or what not, but it was a lot of fun with some great one liners.

This is one of those you could get tons more from multiple viewings, I'll bet.

I concur, but she always just looked kind of "meh" in Grey's Anatomy and Roswell... but she cleans up nice

I just saw this movie. I'd say it's okay but it's not that great. I'm really not too much of a prude but in someways the vulgarity really turned me off on this one.

I just used that line after seeing Borat for the first time. If you've seen it, you'll know what scene I'm talking about!

I think it is likely to be the best comedy this year. That's probably the only claim I can make about it.

And holy lord, we just agreed on a movie.

I hope that for her next role, she has to put on another 30 pounds, so those things can go from very good, to fan-frickin-tastic.

Anyone who liked 40 year old virgin should see this movie...and anyone who liked "Knocked Up" should see 40 year old virgin.

It was really funny and painfully true at many moments. Big thumbs up.

This movie worked so well because all the dialogue really can be related to real life... felt very real. Thumps way up!

Curiously though how did they get Kat Heigl's body to look so realistic? (In preggo scenes)

In some scenes (Tub one) you could tell that the skin tone of her belly was much different than the rest of her body.
