OMG!!! SD IS A DIKTATOR!!!
Dallas was WEAK. When you resort to the "this whole show was a dream/occured in someone's head" angle, and you're not even the first to do it...it ought to disqualify you from the discussion

a real diktator would move this thread to the WW forum, just so the posts don't count as well.

The funny thing about that was that it should have been locked after the first post that mentioned The Wonder Years.

lol. For the record...I'm just playing. I got no beef with SD...I just wanted to point out that the ending to Dallas (and St. Elsewhere, and ST:Enterprise) were bullcrap cop-out endings.

For the record, the "dream" season on Dallas was nowhere near the ending season, if I recall.

okay, that's true now that I remember. But didn't they use it to wipe out like the first...2/3 of the series or something? it's still just...lazy television. And lazy television shows can't be best shows ever |

No, it was just one season because Patrick decided to hold out. There were some interesting story arcs in that season but everyone wanted Bobby and Pam back together and they did so, picking up where they had left off the previous season. Not sure if it was lazy or if their hands were forced. |

Being the only one at this board old enough to have seen the first episode, shouldn't you have mentioned As The World Turns?

The best thing about the dream sequence was that some of the characters who were introduced during the dream sequence were still there when Bobby came out of the shower. |

Heh. My bad. I meant to unlock it quickly like I usually do, and completely forgot about it. Got lost in FOF and BtS.

hehe that's hilarious, didn't realize that. I was pretty young during all that, but I remember the Who Shot JR crap gripping the nation, then the anger that pervaded our society when the dream gimmick happened. |
