Exclamation Tears of The Sun .

Just bought the movie on DVD . Thought it was a good action flick ,not great . A little thin on story but thick on action which is good enough for me .

That's a bit of a shame because the story and the moral dilemma is what attracts me to the movie. I'll probably still rent it sometime.

Dont get me wrong since there were points in the movie that made you feel pity for many unfortunate people in the world .
Like the village scene that really makes your blood boil .

This is a movie that could have been really great. I left the theater a victim of my own high expectations.

I truly agree Fritz this could have been a great movie if certain things were changed and certain dialogues taken out .

I thought the movie was alright...but the character development was a little weak...

I will probably end up getting the DVD anyway, because I seem to be a Bruce Willis groupie...

The fighting at the end I thing was a show firepower...The SEAL team laying down a wall of lead to halt the advance of those soldiers and the ending scene was a bit too predictable .

They showed you the F-18s in the trailers and commercials, so I knew the ending right off of the bat. I'm not a well-rounded military tactician (though I do play Close Combat and Ghost Recon) but I noticed that the way that the squad held their lines while they were falling back was well-organized and many points in the movie were textbook squad tactics that worked brilliantly.
