Undrafted Gems
I know this is probably a retread subject, but I just back into playing FOF after the new patch after not having played since December or so. I was wondering if you find over time that you can truly build a team through the draft, specifically through undrafted players that get passed over.
Anyone?

It was possible to build a monster team in 6.0e from the 5th round to undrafted rookies to players cast off by the AI. With the reduction in scout error and the AI doing a better job of remembering why they drafted certain players, I'm sure this will be more difficult now. I doubt anyone has gotten far enough into it to make a strong statement on how much more difficult it will be, though.

I think it's pretty easy to pick up complementary players after the draft, particularly at the relatively easy-to-fill positions, like FB, TE, C, G, LB and S... and most definitely P/K. Landing guys who evolve into stars (without the occasional random super-boom) is obviously tough, but I don't think it's that difficult to find guys good enough to make most teams' final rosters.
