Political Sim/Game
I cannot for the life of me remember the names of any of the good political simulators/games. Can anyone help me out?
Thank you very much!

I think this is a pretty good one in general, though all of this genre have their ups and downs.

I had a lot of fun with President Forever back in the day, but after reading about issues in the latest version, I never bought it. But after checking out the webpage again, it looks like it's been updated, and at only $20, it might be worth a shot again.
http://www.theoryspark.com/ I'd be curious to hear if anyone's been keeping up with this one - I know there's been a few threads on it here over the years. Last edited by molson : 09-27-2007 at 07:41 PM. |

The Campaign Machine or whatever that Stardock one was called was pretty fun and I thought played a bit deeper than you'd think by it's cartoony look.

President Elect! 20 years old and still the best. Good luck finding a way to run it on your machine, of course.
This genre is sorely lacking in general. |

I remember playing a lot of President Elect on my old c64. Wonder if I can find a copy to run on one of the commodore emulators.

I have the same question. I would appreciate any suggestions on the best one to purchase. Also, I am more interested in the election than in the actual presidential decisions, but I would love a sim that included both (if it exists). Thanks!

Shadow President was a pretty awesome game, although pretty obtuse as well.
