An open apology the board

Hello all, been in the box for a couple weeks, Just wanted to apologize, the letter i sent to SkyDog pretty much covers it, heres a copy.

Hey, I went to the site and found i was "In the Penalty Box" for two weeks.

The reason says I linked to a white supremecist site. This struck me as odd.

I read the thread I started with the time-waster game and then was curious when a couple posters stated it linked a white suprecemist site. Couple things.

I found the link on hockey message board i discuss at, the link there takes you right to the game. I now typed in resist.com and whamo was hit with the racist site. So I see where that comes from.

Why do I type this little email to you, I dont even know if you care for it to be honest. But I just wanted to let people know I am not a racist. I saw the link originally that goes straight to the game and thought that it was a site run by the many many anti-immigration groups out there. I am not familiar enough with the
aryan nation" to know it was their website. I just thought the game was stupidly funny.

I live and work in Detroit and volunteer for a couple groups. I moved there about four years ago right by the old Tiger stadium, area known as "Corktown", I actively participate in "Motor City Blight Busters" they raise funds to tear down old burnt out drug houses and squatters houses that are drug dens. Every Sunday for the past two years I have volunteered through my local church and handed warm breakfast and clothes and other basic items to the homeless that come to the churchs shelter.

The point of this email is not to "protest" the penalty or whine about it. Even though it is just an internet messageboard, I wanted to make it known that it was not any way shape or function to promote any form of hate.

So you didn't know that it was a white supremacist website? That's not really the big deal. What you knowingly did was link to a game in which the sole purpose was to shoot Mexican/Hispanics crossing the border, including women and children. I'm still trying to understand what was so "stupidly funny" about the game?

Based on the description from the original thread it was some sort of 'game' where you tried to stop "illegals" from crossing the border, presumably by shooting them? I am not sure, however, since I never clicked on it and don't know the details.

Someone just pointed out this thread and particular accusation to me, so I need to clarify something. I never saw this e-mail before now. I always respond to a suspended person's e-mail at least once, (even if the response is merely "*shurg*", which is a very rare response only given to those who display extreme asshattishness in the e-mail). My guess is that one of three things happened here:

1. JN looked at my profile instead of using board's "contact us" link, or sending the e-mail through the board interface. MSN IM addresses are not always the user's e-mail address. (This is my top guess.)
2. It came between two emails that I deleted, and I didn't notice it. (doubtful, but possible)
3. My ISP's spam filter caught and flagged it for some reason (doubtful again, but also possible)

It was not intended as an accusation, I looked at your profile and it wouldnt let me send a message, i went to the benelou.com website and sent the email thats on the contact thing there.
