Just wanted to say the Orioles are awful

Went to my first ever live baseball game last night - Orioles vs the Phillies.

It was an experience........oh boy do fans get treated well in Stadiums over here.

Only problem was it was the Orioles vs the Phillies and the Orioles are truely bad.

17 innings, 6 hours 41 mins and the lost - in fact after scoring in the 1st inning they never looked like they would score again.

Both teams used every pitcher in their bullpen, and the Phillies who also looked very poor won with a 3 run homer in the 17th.

What an evening Great fun, must go again soon.

P.S. I detest the DC beltway - spent 2 hours moving slowly on it travelling to Baltimore (going home whole trip took 50 minutes)

This is why DC needs it's own team (well, that and that the Orioles stink ).

Orioles suck because they're owner is a piece of shit. I hate that guy with every fiber of my being. He's managed to transform a once proud team with a hell of a good fanbase, into a horrible team with a very weak fanbase.

Once Cal Ripken retired everyone stopped going to the games. But i have heard that Cal is putting together a group to buy the Orioles from Angalos. If that happens, i will become much more interested Orioles baseball again.
