Holy Crap! Snake Eyes looks awesome (upcoming GI Joe movie)

not that i'm going to see this movie when it hits the theaters (sounds more like a wait for DVD type movie), these newly released pics of Snake Eyes (played by Ray "Darth Maul" Park) are the bull's balls:

here's the site that released the pics:

yeah. Dennis Quaid is playing Hawk. Sienna Miller is playing Baronness. they got a no-name for Destro and Cobra Commander. yawn.

somewhere, Sgt. Slaughter is getting up at dawn, running a couple miles, doing pushups and then heading straight for the phone and sitting by it all day waiting for it to ring. lol.

something tells me the coolest scenes will involve Snake Eyes, much like in the 2nd XMen movie the coolest scene was Nightcrawler's assault on the White House. i'm not falling for the trap. this is gonna be crap. if they don't get Ving Rhames or LL Cool J to play Roadblock then i may just watch Snake Eyes' scenes on Youtube and not even watch this nonsense on dvd.

Looks cool.

I want pictures of Lady Jaye though please. I also want to see Gung Ho, Leatherneck, Mutt w/ Junkyard his dog, Sgt. Slaughter, Shipwreck, Snow Job, Wild Bill, Bazooka, and Alpine. I also expect all the correct facial hair for each character. Joe's had more facial hair then me sometimes.

Plenty of Cobras I want to see but one will probably be left off that I would want, Serpentor.

People already cast as characters in the upcomig GI Joe movie

they have the guy who played Mr. E from Lost as some Joe named "Heavy Duty". so you cast "Heavy Duty" before you cast everyone's favorite black limmerick speaking heavy machine gunner "Road Block"? great job.

and thanks to steve i just realized who is playing Cobra Commander. i just spit on the floor. i shit on this movie with runny feces.

Dola- I found out why I don't know Heavy Duty. He is some schmuck who wasn't really around until 2000 and since, on a regular basis. He blows.

Funny thing about Ripcord, HA. From what I see he was a white guy with red hair in the early 80's. Weird choices for this movie. Here is a site I found with different version of guys and just about every guy ever I guess....

My son was involved as the comic book artist that did the GI Joe 25th anniversary comic in the action figures, that were released recently, and after Transformers came out, Hasbro took my son's rendition of the Baronness and sold the movie studio on the idea of making a GIJoe movie.

He said it was hard work but a lot of fun. He is anxious to see how the movie is himself after working so close with Hasbro and the other licensees on the project.

Sorry to interrupt, but, being a proud parent, I had to say something. Been keeping that info in since late 2006/early 2007.

DARK HELMET

(No. No, please, leave me alone.
No you are mine.
Not so fast, Helmet.
Yes, it's me. I'm here to save my girlfriend. Hi, honey.
Now you are going to die.
Oh, oh, ohhhh.
Hey, what did you do to my friend?
The same thing I'm going to do to you, big boy.
Oh, ohhh.
And you too.
Oh, ohh.
Now, Princess VESPA, at last we are alone.
No, no, I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. Leave me alone....yet, I find you strangely attractive.
Of course you do. Drewish princesses are always attracted to money and power. And I have both, and you know it.
No, leave me alone.
No, kiss me.
No, yes, no, yes, yes, no, no, ah, oh, oh, oh, ah, ohh, oh, you're helmet is so big.

COL SANDURZ

Lord Helmet.

DARK HELMET

(holds all the dolls out of Sandurz's sight) What?

COL SANDURZ

You're needed on the bridge, sir.

DARK HELMET

Knock on my door. Knock next time.

COL SANDURZ

Yes, sir.

DARK HELMET

Did you see anything?

COL SANDURZ

No, sir. I didn't see you playing with your dolls again.

DARK HELMET

Good.

I think the fact that Marlon Wayans was cast in this movie tells us it's going to be a failure.

The fact that Dennis Quaid is cast as Hawk tells me it's a failure. That guy's spent the last 10 years looking like he's got a pole shoved up his anus, and calling it acting.

To give them credit, the chance that a *good* G.I. Joe movie would come out is so close to zero we can't tell the difference. Still, why did they try? I can't stop laughing looking at that cast page. These people really need the money I guess.

I think it's a bit sad that they keep making these movies about the toys and shows *we* grew up with. If I was 8 I would probably love this movie. Why don't they just make something new for the eight year olds?

I bet general hawk gets killed in the first movie. They'll need some sort of reason for Duke to take control. What better than seeing his mentor killed, leading him on a crusade for justice.

looking at Duke's "bio", he really isn't anything special in terms of military rank. they always played him up to be like 2nd in command, but his military rank is only 1st-Sergeant, or Master Sergeant. he's ranked E-8, which is only 8 ranks above Cadet. whoopie doo.

While this movie will still suck, reports indicate that The Rock has been signed to play "Shipwreck" and Brendan Fraiser has been signed to play "Gung-Ho."

Those were two of my favorite Joes as a kid, so that's something...
