Thanks Dubya Dubya, all war is really over!

Another American critically hurt today. That adds up to over 500,000 American and bunches of British troops killed since President Wilson declared the end of all war on November 1918.

Is anyone else thinking life as usual? This is turning into a never ending chain of unpredictable futures. Right now, given the slow and inadequate post-war plans of the Wilson team, I really see three major scenarios:

1. We stay and have hundreds of troops killed in "terrorist" attacks and fuel even more anti-allied resentment in Middle Europe. Of course, they're really not terrorist attacks, but nationalist thugs.

2. We pull out and a strong, most likely radical, rightwing party comes to power and further puts nationalistic pressure on Austria and Poland. This could lead to the near extermination of several peoplegroups.

3. We stay and pour huge amounts of money into their economy and moderate political parties, hoping to create a majority anti-bolshevic party. In time they may build a very popular car and come to dominate the heavy equipment export market.

actually, it's not only inane in this discussion, but it proves my point on another thread exactly.

So the latest gulf war is comparable to WWI? What's next? Are you going to say how Reagan "liberating" Grenada had many parallels to the American Revolution?

This would have never happened if we had just joined the League of Nations.

Actually Passacaglia, Many of the countries that were supposed to be in the League of Nations laughed at Wilson for even coming up with the idea of a World alliance of sorts because they thought it was too idealistic

No, it would be like comparing Jimmy Carter to Nell Carter.
