Ever Experience Dominance like this?
I know you'll all think I was a cheater, re-structured contracts, made unfair trades, etc.. etc.. Well, the truth is, I found a way to dominate this game and go to the Super Bowl and win it almost every year without any of that. It's simple. All I did was just draft very well and when those outstanding draft choices decide they want a huge contract, I just trade them for multiple 2nd and 3rd round draft choices and have another great draft! Once you have a system rolling, you have a constant influx of great new players and players all along the development cycle - from superstar all the way to rookie. It's amazing how well it works. The key is a GREAT scout and a very good coach. I didn't pursue one free agent the entire time I was on this run. The only time I re-signed one of my own guys to a huge free agent contract was when my maxed out rating OT's were up for contracts. They are very hard to come by. Anyone esle ever use this strategy? I think it kind of makes the game obselete now. I'll have to try this strategy using a few more teams - maybe the Texans and Browns and see if it works as well. Come to think of it, wouldn't this system work in the NFL? Just a though...here is a link to my dominance!

So what happened in 2021 ?
BTW, this is not realistic at all as the Lions also made the Super Bowl 5 times in 9 years...

The reason it doesn't happen in the real NFL is because teams are generally smart enough not to trade for players with one year left on their contract.

back on the old board a group of us tried a village challenge that ultimatley faild in it's 3rd season. But in order to create the challenge, I ran a team from 2002-2048 in order to make them the archrival for the horrible team we would take over.

That's the best I've ever done playing FOF. Clearly it's easy to "crack the code." |

Out of curiosoty, your list of championships games shows the score, rather than just the winner of the game.
Did you play all these seasons post-patch? Or does the patch go back and reveal the championship game scores fr career played pre-patch? On the general topic - it's always fuzzy to talk about what's impressive in this game. For every person who has some kind of breakthrough and wins a ton of games, there's another who says "well, I don't thionk those things are realistic" and plays by different restrictions. To each his own, I suppose. If you're having fun playing, that's what counts most of all. I'm sure there are plenty of people who consider the prospect of playing a career like that to be dreadfully boring. |

I patched the game and the scores showed up all of a sudden. After the 2021 season I ended the dynasty and started a new one with the Texans. I wanted to see how the new patch would work from the beginning of a career as well as if my system would work with the expansion team. Through one year with the Texans (no draft yet of course) I went 9-7 and lost in the first round of the playoffs. I think it will take me about four or five seasons to have this system in place where I'm just pumping players through the different phases from Frosh Rookie to stud vet who wants a huge payday. If anyone is interested I'll keep you updated. Thanks for the feedback too

I have experienced domination like that. I had to pay for it, though, and damn that woman knows how to use whips!
