Rolling Meadows. Sheesh. Why can't someone have some training in Evanston or be coming to Ravinia to see a concert?

Bitching out of the way, I'd love to try and meet up, though I have quite a busy schedule during the week, unless it rains.

Once I get in, maybe we can meet up mid-week somewhere if you have time?

Oh come on. Rolling Meadows is way better than Tinley Park.

I'll see what's up with me, and check in when a date is set.

You're right. I know how to get to Rolling Meadows without major mapquest help.

If the meet-up is Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday then I could probably make it out one of those nights.

And Rolling Meadows is a world better than Tinley Park for me - are any of our Chicago posters close to Tinley?

I was actually wondering that. I don't think ANY of us live close to there.

We were in Tinley Park because that's where Neon was staying and it made sense for us to come to him rather then make the guy from another country try and navigate.

Right - I just think it is a less-than-ideal location for any future FOFC/Chicago meet-ups.

I hear rumors that Bolingbrook and Woodridge are damn fine places.

I thought our meeting in the city with Render was good, since everyone has transportation options to the city. Short of that I advocate some Northern suburbs.

One of those two is right. I'll leave it up to you to decide.

If it is the 14th then I'm in - my wife reminded me yesterday that we have plans on the 15th.

Was there anything specific you wanted to do? As far as sports goes, there is playoff hoops/hockey and baseball to watch. But I don't think there is anything fun like Cubs/Cards going on in that timeframe.

I'm fine with meeting up and having some dinner/apps/drinks and shoot the breeze.

Made it.. just about 5 hrs to the minute. Our company has been telling us where we have to stay now and I'd have to say this Extended stay is not something I'm used to (where is my Embassy Suite?). I mean.. it's not like I'm going to cook anything since we get $65 a day in meals.

Oh well.. my beer I iced down before leaving is nice and cold and I found a place I've been craving.. good old Arby's.

I'm open to any night from Monday - Thursday for a get together.

I'm pretty much out during the week, unfortunately. I was thinking if it was rainy tomorrow I could make it (no baseball) but I forgot I have another commitment that night anyway.

Two slices of Gino's East pizza and a pitcher of Blue Moon and I'm about to explode.

Anyone up for tomorrow meeting somewhere?

Nice - it has been quite awhile since I got Gino's East pizza, even though there is one 15 minutes away. My wife likes Giordano's and Lou Malnati's better - hard to argue with any of the three.

I'm getting "honey do'd" to death this week with preparations for our kid's one year birthday party this weekend. I would love to make it out for awhile tomorrow but I'm doubtful at this point.

Ahhhh Illuminati's pizza. You don't need to order from them, they already know and will have the pizza there before you even pick up the phone.

Yeah, we almost went to Lou Malnati's.. I'm also taking 3 Nancy's pizzas home as the wife loves the thin crust from there (what do you expect we're from St. Louis).

Went to Weber's Grill tonight... the ribs were excellent! I've also been drinking a lot of Blue Moon this week.

I can't get to this site at work, but I'm open for a Thursday evening meet if anyone can make it... I'll check back after training is out. If not, no biggie... I'm sure I'll be back at some point.

Ditto - would have liked to have found a date/time that worked for a meet-up. At least it sounds like you are at least getting some good food/beer while you are here.
