Should I delete the latest threadkiller thread?

So, what do y'all think? Is the threadkill a good place for the riff-raff to go and leave the rest of us alone, or is it childish and brings down the board as a whole. I may or may not act based on the poll results. I'm more curious what people think.

I think that if you try to stop it, it may begin to spring up in other threads as people try to fight the power. As it stood, it was confined to one thread; the people who were into it got to do it; the people who were not into it did not have to look at it.

I had no use for it, but I think that trying to stop it may make it more annoying (i.e. watching threadkillers battle SkyDog) than just letting it exist as one thread among many.

I didn't mean for it to become a actual thread killer thread... I don't really care either way if you delete it, close it, or leave it there.

I think the person that started a thread can delete it, but not close it.

I think it is much funnier and more effective when you delete all that hard work after about 2,000 replies...

But Subby! We've already been told that doing this is a human tragedy of gigantic proportions! After all - people lost posts! Maybe you didn't understand that the first time... but PEOPLE LOST POSTS!. Good heavens, man, how can you be glib in the face of such devastation and loss?

Is it really that important to you how many posts you or anyone else has? The post count thing is getting to be ridiculous.

Maybe we should try not displaying post counts for a while so people can start focusing on content again. Isn't that an option with vB?

Post counts are elitist. So are gold-plated vibrators.

Viva elitism!

I do the misreading thing quite often, though I usually read something as dirty and profane.

Kinda like how I always read RealDeal as RealDoll. Not just on the forum, once I was watching the news on TV while my parents were in the room and the ticker thing on the bottom of the screen said 'real deal' about something or another which almost lead me to make some comment on why the hell they were reporting on real dolls. Would've been kinda weird....

Yeah, I guess you could say he's their single game scoring leader.

Ok, my favorite misread EVER. I used to be an air traffic controller and as such we got free jumpseat flights ( we actually got paid for 8 of them a year as long as the flight was 4 hrs or more - sweet ). It was my first ride up front in a 757 so I was paying attention to the cockpit as the pilot was going through his safety spiel.

Above my head was a little box which had a pull down handle and it said "emergency escape rope." The rope was used if you had to kick out the windows so you could get out.

I see "emergency escape route" and I think, well, my fat ass is going to die if we have a crash because there's no way I'm fitting through that sucker.

Which bring up the questions, when your talking about past or present Golden State Warriors, do we count players that played for the franchise, but never in California?

Ummm, I'm not sure. Typically I just stick to players that played when Tim Hardaway was there, since he was the only reason that I ever rooted for them.

I guess you can use Philadelphia Warriors also, but I'll need confirmation from my co-Warrior Spouter, gold101...
