Capturing stills from web video
What software do you use? It's not even for me, it's for some people who called and asked me about it and I don't know what to tell them..but it's because I haven't a need for such things.
Anyone? |

Are these videos being live streamed or is it like youtube videos?
Live steaming, not so sure how you can do it. Something like youtube, just pause it and do a screen shot (usually a keyboard combo - PCs I believe is CTL+P, not 100% positive on the PC though, Macs - Shift+AppleKey+4) and then you could crop the picture in Paint or some other app. Hope that helps ![]()

I think it's like video files that they have on their computer is what they're asking me about. I should call them and find out what the hell they're talking about and then I can investigate. I was hoping they'd just email me, but instead they're calling me on the advice of their mentor.
I know how to take a screenshot, so that's not really what I mean. I'm thinking of something like Fraps is what they'd need, so it seems I might know more than I thought. Thanks gang. |
