Washington is ranked #22.

I still can't believe we haven't gotten one vote yet, despite knocking off No. 10 Texas and No. 21 Michigan (both are in the Top 25 or have received votes going into this week's poll).

At least we are on National TV again this week for the trip to Michigan State. Our first two games have been on National TV.

Bye week for the Dawgs. Wrapped up my recruiting last night. Things are looking pretty good if I can keep it up. One bad thing though, is that I set my sights way to low out of the gate. I put a bunch of 2 star guys on my board and probably could have went with 3 star players. Still trying to figure it all out. A bunch of guys are coming in to Seattle for the game next week versus Stanford.

Bye weeks suck. Do me a favor and really bust up MSU for us. I want to face nothing but their scrubs next week.

We got a home game against Purdue next week, with a lot of recruits coming in to visit. We got a home date against Stanford the following week, with one or two recruits coming in as well. Two rivalries that we have a good chance to win (Purdue is rated a B as well as us, but I think we might have the edge in terms of "top" talent and speed; along with home field), and if we can win tonight against HA and the Spartans, we have a good shot at going 5-0 before the week off.

Since I'm playing Rice, this is the game the bulk of my recruits will come to visit. Always good to have the guys come for a win (cross fingers).

I see Rice is 3-0. Despite a 0-2 start, before coming back with a nice win over West Virginia, you have a very strong non-conference slate (if Rice builds on the 3-0 start and become one of the top mid-major teams this year). Your still in good position with your current ranking, the strength of schedule, and if you can beat the top teams in the Big 12.

With the number of teams on bye, I'm thinking we could get through this week rather quickly (pending on how soon KWhit-SirFozzie get together).

Ugh. Hope we can get the game played this weekend, because I don't think my schedule is too compatible with GA's.

Was dominating Rice until the 4th quarter, where they seemed to come alive. I was able to pretty much keep them to three and outs until the final stanza. They scored twice to make the game interesting, but I recovered their onsides kick to seal the win, 28-21. I'm still turning the ball over WAY too much in this game.

Hopefully we can finally get some votes and crack the Top 25 after a pretty strong performance last night. Big rival games against Purdue and Stanford in the next two weeks.

"waiting for KWhit."

KWhit has hit every deadline. Please stop singling people out for criticism. If things don't move fast enough for you, start a singleplayer dynasty or something. Or start a multiplayer league with a cycle that meets your needs. Would I like things to move faster? Of course. But we have a 6-day turnaround for each week, and as long as someone meets that deadline, they are good with me.

If you have issues with someone, by all means send me a PM. But you don't have free license to take potshots at others. Continuing to do so will not be taken well by me.

listen chief, while you may be a commish, bear in mind you're little more than a glorified "push the button to advance to the next week" guy. i call people out where i see fit. not only does KWhit have little to no presence in these threads, he's habitually one of the few people we need to wait for in order to advance. its nice that he's hit every deadline, but it just sucks that he has to hit the deadline at the 11th hour, can't he surprise us and have his stuff done early for a change? that's not asking a lot.

i fully expect people to call me out if i do something they don't like. it works both ways.

I may be a glorified button pusher, but I also control the button that removes people from the league. And it has been well-established over the years that I have little tolerance for people who make themselves a pain in the ass. If you want to go against your nature and play nice, that's great--You'll be welcome in this league for as long as you put your best foot forward. And I appreciate that you are very timely with your files and stuff. But if you start to act like you are prone to acting, you will be dumped unceremoniously.

No problem. I wasn't posting it to be an insult or anything. Just was posting in general. Don't waste your time on trying to snag any recruits from Notre Dame. It won't work.

Haven't heard from them. I sent a PM out to Pumpy, SirFozzie, and KWhit reminding them of tomorrow's deadline. It looks like maybe Pumpy is playing right now.

Good Game, KWhit. So frustrated.. I thought I had you stopped on that 4th down sneak, I was going to challenge it, but I forget you can't challenge it online. When I held you to a FG after that long bomb, I was thinking I was back in the game, until my QB fumbled, and you scored a TD on the next play :/

Yeah, that was a fun game, SF. You kept hanging in there making me nervous. I thought you had me on that 4th down play too. Lucky for me, I barely made it.

Turnovers also continue to be a problem for me. 2 bad INTs and a fumble.

Anyway, good game.

they shouldn't make it private - i'm a big boy, you can post in public if you have a prob.

there's nothing to complain about - my playing style is legit so no one should have a prob with that and if i complain about someone/something it's cuz i care. if anyone has a gripe with me then make it public or don't complain at all.

if i'm disruptive to the league in your book then man up or shut up. i do my part in this league - as soon as we progress to the next week you have a file by me within a day and not once in our league's infancy has anyone had to wait because HA didn't get around to things. i submit files early and i share my many opinions on how to make things better, which is more than what most people do. i know you're accustomed to the IHOF way (silent owners are preferred over vocal ones), but this isn't IHOF. if being active and prompt aren't valued in this league then do what you need to do before i invest any more time, otherwise sit down and be sitting down and let good ole HA do what he does best.
