Anyone interested in a faster turnaround league?
I couldn't commish it because you can only commish 1 league, but I was wondering if there might be a segment of people who'd prefer a faster turnaround, like 4 days or something.

Definetly. I have too much time on my hands after this week, but I couldn't commish it either |

I'd be up for it. I pretty much have all the free time in the world at the moment and would dig a second league.

The week turnarounds just make things seem to move at a glacial pace. We'll only get 3 or 4 seasons in before NCAA 2010 comes. I'd probably even support a 3-day turnaround.

I'll have to think about it. 3 leagues is a lot. I think that we should maybe look at shortening the time frame in the current leagues.

As a member of the RFL and NOFL, I would support a proposal if the commissioners wanted to post a poll for a vote in adjusting the time frames. And if the EBFL wanted to as well, they can.

I'd really like to speed things up in the RFL as opposed to starting a new league. Like Galaxy said, it's nice to get attached to some players and have "meaningful" games unlike solo dynasties. As it stands now, it's been over 2 full weeks since I've played a game with my Huskies (stupid bye).

I would definitely be up for speeding up the EBFL. 4 days would be the best I can do.

i definitely think we need to speed up the current leagues rather than start a 4th. i would think the RFL would be the best choice since to me it was kinda started to be a sister/tag-along/alternate league on the side in conjunction to NOFL and EBFL. i don't want to say i'm losing interest, that's too harsh, but in the case of NOFL where i (and everyone else) have started out as a low ranked team i need the seasons to move along so that i can begin to transition my team to the next level. at the current pace i'll not only not be able to see meaningful developement in the Duke program, but may never progress fast enough to have the option to jump to a better program.
i'm done complaining, i don't want to poo poo on all the hard work that the commishes do, but yeah, moving the current existing leagues along faster would be best. Last edited by Anthony : 08-25-2008 at 08:38 PM. |

I definitely think a faster turnaround would be a good idea.

I am all for it, but we'll see how everyone else in EBFL feels first.

I would be okay with a 4-5 day turnaround. I may occasionally miss out on a week but I am willing to do that to keep things moving...
