PING: Marc Vaughan--UEFA Cup problem

Hi,

I am currently managing Ipswich in season 05/06 and am supposed to be playing in the UEFA Cup. However, the competition only managed to get past the qualifying stages, and then stopped; I am in November now and the draw for the first round never happened. Checking over the SIGames messageboard I saw that a few people mentioned the problem but said that by the end of October the competition had started back up. However, mine has not, and I was wondering if you had any info on why this may have happened. I've done a little research into it and a couple things stuck as as possible reasons, but they don't seem too likely to me:
1.) One of the final qualifying fixtures took place a week after the rest of the qualifiers were scheduled and finished.
2.) Two of the Intertoto Cup final fixtures were played 8 days after the scheduled date of the finals.

I was thinking this could possibly cause the computer to delay the draw for the first round as it would not know who the opposition would be yet. But that's just a totally uneducated guess on my part. Also, I am running EP4 but this is a continuation of a game I started using EP3.

Typical, I bitch about a problem and then it seems to solve itself The draw eventually did take place but not until November 16th. And the first leg is scheduled for the next day. Hopefully the rest of the tourney will go ok now!
